LOG BOOK FACT SHEET

Fact assessors only need to see the relevant information.  I have had log books on SPA or coach level two assessments with GCSE certificates and road safety certificates in.  If you want to make your pass easier then follow these simple rules:

  1. Have a photo on the front cover with your name on it.
  2. Inside a brief paragraph on your current duties. I.E. Have worked as a  youth worker, hold coaching awards in football and kayaking etc.
  3. First Aid certificate Original and prerequisites star tests certs etc.
  4. C1 for canoe sports or Personal details, training report, sticker page and personal profile for Land sports.
  5. Personal logged experience, underline or highlight where the minimum hours have been met.
  6. Same for the coaching log, if you have poor handwriting like me then type it.
  7. Go to the NGB web sites and get the up to date requirements.

N.B.     I have pre typed logbook pages if you want them e-mail me at

bill-beynon@btclick.com and I will get them back to you by return.

Only assessment specific information required.  Take out all of the other information i.e. if you are on a SPA don’t put in anything other than your SPA information in or if on your kayak level two don’t put in open boat information.

All other information will not be looked at we have don’t have time!

Make it easy for us to pass you we really do want too.
